The corrugated aluminum sheath (W) acts as a seamless metal layer with exceptional sealing properties. It not only achieves complete radial water blocking but also effectively preventsexternal moisture from penetrating the insulation, ensuring the long-term stable operation of high-voltage power grids.
Robust Mechanical Protection
Compared to lead-sheathed cables, the aluminum sheath is lighter in weight and higher in strength. Its unique corrugated structure enhances the cable’s crush resistancewhilemaintaining excellent bending flexibility, making it durable even in complex terrains.
Advanced Chemical Resistance & Anti-Cracking:The PE outer sheath (03) offers significant advantages over standard PVC (02) jackets:
Low Water Absorption: Ideal for humid, rainy, or coastal environments.
Environmental Stress Crack Resistance (ESCR): Prevents physical cracks in harsh soil conditions.

High Current Capacity & Heat Resistance
The XLPE insulation (YJ) allows the cable to operate continuously at a rated temperature of 90°C (and up to 250°C during a short circuit). This provides superior transmission efficiencyand a longer service life compared to traditional insulation materials.
Rodent & Termite Resistance
The metallic aluminum sheath serves as more than just a waterproof layer; it is a natural barrier that effectively protects the cable insulation from damage caused by termites and rodents.
